I was born in the Rhondda Valley, South Wales in the United Kingdom.

I was lucky to be brought up in a home that was full of music.  My mother was a piano teacher and church organist and my father, a singer.

After graduating from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where I studied Piano and Voice, I began working as a performer, composer and teacher.   My works include choral, instrumental, orchestral, vocal and theatrical. 

I live near the coast with my wife Julia in Pembrokeshire, West Wales.
